CACTUS BLOOMS & FRUIT
Each year during the Spring and Summer the cactus of the desert put on a display of sudden short-lived beauty. First the buds appear, next the cactus blooms, and then the fruit (containing the seeds). The cactus blooming season of the desert is always an anticipated treat. The pictures in the slide show (above) are intended to provide some evidence of this spectacular annual event. |
